Hi guys 1st post here. What a great site!!! Great job! I have a 4 week old tank. When I picked up cured Live Rock there was a haitian anemone attached to one and it. It has been in there 3 weeks and all of a sudden the tips look kinda deflated and unhealthy. What is wrong with my anemone? 1st pic is from last week - 2nd is from today. Your help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to TRT!!!!They will look deflated time to time. Most people would say that would be to soon for a anemone but you got it on some live rock so its free. When they deflate they will push all the water out that they have in them and take new water in. Anemones are very hard to keep they need a tank thats about a year old and they need lots of light. But we will try to help the guy. What kind of lights to you have?

I feed krill about 1 time a week. Your ligh is ok. Did he move around the tank at all or just stay on the one rock?

Stayed in the same rock/ place the whole time. The guy at the Lfs said to feed him once a day - but he obviously has money to gain bu me purchasing more food. Is once a day too much?

I think its a little much and a lot of work 1-2 times a week would be good. They will get a lot of the food the need from the light. But with your lights it would be good to feed 2 times a week.
