Free Mushroom

went to the LFS and started my clean up crew. A little piece of rock caught my eye in the tank. It had a mushroom on it. They sold it to me for $3.00. dont have a clue what the mushroom is. Got it home put it in. it looks halfway attached to the rock and not open yet like in the store. Any advice on the half attached to the rock part???

Or you can put a rubber band around it to hold it while it attaches
