First Nano , This thing is cool ! Now with Pics !

Well over the past month i have been driving all around , and all over the internet comparing all the brands of nanos and after all the comparisons I kept coming up with the Oceanic 8 gallon Bio cube.

I was limited to a 13"x13" area and this one fit the bill perfectly and had a lot of options that other bands called "deluxe" but this one came with it all standard.

I have added 10 pounds of live sand and 4 lbs of live rock with about another 3-4 lbs planned.

Will check everything tomorrow params wise and might though some hemits in there.

All the rock was already cured and water was taken out of my 100 gallon reef to fill this one.

Pics soon.

Just plan on :

A diamond goby
5 b. hermits
1-2 Narassis snails 1 turbo
2 damsels ( mabey just one )
and softys like zenias , leathers , and shrooms

Well definitly reconsidering the population. Amazing how small something is in a 100 gallon but when you add it to a 8 gallon it is huge !!

After checking all the params everything was SPOT ON ! and yes "Just because something CAN be done, Doesn't mean it SHOULD be done "

:P well i did it anyways :P

I added 3 bL hermits which I am going to pull one out and leave the 2.

1 narsiss snail a couple of brown common pylops that have been floating around my tank and a few branches of tonga that where in my 100.

YES I AM GRABING THE CAMERA NOW lol pics in a few mins

Added some zoos today along with two shrooms and 2 kenyas and a 4lb rock so the LR is done .

Tank is starting to look really good. I had to pick up a heater today as the tank got cold fast light night. Was able to find a 50 watt heater to fit in the baffles in back so the tank is still only about the livestock in it.

Going to pick up some pallys tomorrow
