Filter options for 15 gal nano?

What would be a good choice for a 15 gal nano (fish only w/ LR)? The tank dimensions are 13"x13"x18". I plan to have 1 fish and a 1 nice piece of LR(15-20lbs) I had the CPR bakpak on this tank in the past but i no longer have it and would like to go a cheaper, less micro bubble direction. I know I could probably just get away with frequent water changes but I was wondering what you guys use. thanks

When you say filter is that a skimmer or hang/canister filter? If you want a skimmer you could go with a coralife 65 thats a h.o.t. skimmer. Or if you want I hate to say it but seaclone 100 small very cheap and no micro bubble. Hard to say how good it would work. I had one on my 38gal it was ok. I like my coralife way more!

I mean everything, give me all the options. Nanos are somewhat new to me but i guess they're not too different from large tanks in terms of filtration. I have an old AquaClear200 laying around and i may just throw that on the back.

I would just use the AquaClear200. You could run carbon with that if you wanted. If you keep up with your water changes you may not need that. I run a canister filter on my 38 gal with carbon.

Just a small puffer like this guy and some LR. No inverts. http://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...e9286068272a84

You may want to get a skimmer with a puffer.

I am not completely opposed to getting another CPR Bakpak or similar type skimmer. The main reason for setting up this tank was to get my wife into the hobby. Every friggin fish that she likes is anti-reef and/or loves to snack on inverts. My 90 gal tank will have Coral bandeds, Cleaner shrimp,etc...

Cool, I would just get a skimmer it will make it a lot less work and will help keep it clean.
