Emergency Help Anyone!!!!!!!!!

I took my xenia out of the water for 2 min ( i know that was real stupid but i wanted to take out a b. worm i saw on it and those things i really hate and am willing to do anything to rid my tank of them) and now of course they are stressed. I wanted to know how long it will take them to get back to normal or if they even will. They are on a live rock that has some of the "cardilage stuff" in and around it. Well the body of the rock is partly that stuff. Was wondering what that stuff is because accidently tore some off from the inside. And was wondering how bad the b. worm are. this one was reddish brown color and had med size bristles. I hear all of the debate of good and bad . Also i found a h.h crab should i keep or not keep? Help Plz help!!!!!!!!!

I angered mine tonight while fragging but I'm sure they'll be fine in the morning. If they're just closed up into little fists pouting they're most likely just waiting for an apology.

Thanks for the reply, I think you are right, already they are coming back to normal. I did apologize and its not gonna happen again. Was wondering how can i tell if its a sponge? And in the peice of live rock i just bought, there is a lot of weird stuff in it, particularly 2 antena looking things poking out of holes, quite a bit of them, are they some sort of worm or something? thanks again!

those worms

You probably have some sort of filter feeding, tube worms. They usually grow on the outside of rocks and form small tubes that run along the outside of the rock. Some are found on the inside, but I must say that rocks like these are why we love our reefs so much, because of all of the interesting things you find in them.
