Do you use a cover?

Trying to find out whether it's better to keep a cover on my 20gal or not. What are you guys doing?

I've read in other places that you want to go uncovered to help with the chemical reaction. Is this not a good idea for a nano? Too much evaporation? I have a obrit compact using with legs installed. Manufacture reccomands keeping a glass cover...

when I had my 10 gal set up I ran a cover on it for a while then it was more of a PITA to get inside to mess with things so I left it off and never put it back on the only diff I noticed was instead of having to keep the glass top clean I had to clean the plexi "shield" on my light....basicly if you want it open leave it open if you have cats or some type of pet or kid that may mess with the tank cover it ...oh yea and I'm not running any type of top on my current 20 gal long set up....

I ran a plexi top on my 5.5 for a few weeks, then it got really hot, so I ditched the top and had a MUCH easier time controlling heat
