definition?
Interestingly enough, I thought it was generally accepted that tanks 29 gallons and under were nano's, with those under 5 being picos... Not that it really matters, just making a point.

Lately it would seem that my 58G is considered a nano. With all the 300-400G tanks around..

I'm a bit of a newbie, but my understanding was always that anything under 30 gal is a nano. Again not that it matters... I guess we all need to use our best Judgement when posting threads with question about nanos...

If I had a 10 gallon main tank and a 100 gallon sump, would it still be a nano?

Yardboy it's your tank so it is if you want it to be. IMHO it is total gallons in the system. Is it US or imperial gallons.

You could also ask the question:
If a nano falls off it's stand when nobody's home, does it make a sound?

Wow...since I have a 40BR, that must qualify me as having a "Full-Grown" reef?

My personal definition is:
1 gallon or less is a pico
over 1 gallon up to 28 gallons is a Nano
29 gallons up to 120 gallons is a Mini Reef
121 gallons and over is just a plain reef.
But everyone has there own opnion on this but most opnions fall somewhere close to eachother.
