Deep Sand Bed in a 24G AP

Hi there,I'm new to this forum, I'm in the process of setting up a 24G Aquapod tank, I've got 2 questions:

Does anyone have a 24G Aquapod with a deep sand bed? Does it help out the tank? I was told on another forum that a deep sand bed on a 24G AP wouldn't do any good because the water would disturb the bacteria in the sand.

How many pounds of live rocks do you have in it?

Welcome to TRT! My thing would be that a true dsb is over 5 in. The tank is only 19 in tall. That doesn't leave alot of room for rock. I had a 2 inch sb and about 40lbs of live rock. No skimmer just weekly water changes. No issues with algae or nutrient build up. Just my opinion, depends on what you like.
