After researching nano setups, I decided to buy the current solana tank. Bought it from aloha-aquariums in california, the first tank was delivered damaged, but the service was good and I received a replacement promptly.
My opinion of the tank, the rimless glass with beveled edges are clean. The aquarium stand was poorly pre-assembled, required some wrenching to get it upright. The skimmer is noisy, but functions well. The auto topoff works well if you use the glass top to reduce evaporation. The 150 HQI light is stylish, good or bad, and heat doesn't seem to be an issue as my tank is at 78 degrees. Water circulation was improved by a tunze powerhead. Overall, a very simple and efficient nano setup.
Here are some pictures two days after setting it up. The water still needs to clear and the rockwork will be changed. Need to add some SPS and hopefully a rose anemone.
