Coralife 10W 50/50 Question

I'm using a 10W Coralife 50/50 on my 2.5 gallon AGA minibow...

The light looks great for the first 5 minutes or so that it is on, but once it gets warm, the actinic side starts "flickering"...looks almost strobish out of the corner of my eye...is this normal for this bulb? Or is it defective?

One other thing...is it possible to move the fixture back in the hood and change over to a 20W 50/50?

Thanks!

Jodi

The actinic should not be flickering, I would exchange it where ever you got it. They are good bulbs, but you'll get bad ones everyonce in a while. I have them in my pico and my 10G and I like them. If you can put the 20W, that'll make in nice and bright

Coralife guarantees their bulbs. You should be able to take it back.
I also agree with aquariumgirl, the 20 watt looks much better!
