clowning around in fresh water?

i top off my tank twice a day with fresh ro water (hot house=major evaperation)
but my silly clowns always have to swim right under where im pouring in the fresh water. i move the cup away from them but they follow it almost like they enjoy the fresh water bath
is this safe? is it ok to dump fw on them?

people actually do a FW dip to fish all the time. If they chose to go through it, they must enjoy it in some way.
