clean up crew advice?

okay i have a fairly well adjusted 20 gallon tank with two percula's, a xenia, mushroom and a torch coral and two snails who do a pretty good job of keeping the glass clean

my real question is what do i really need for a clean up crew. i had a crab that used to sift through the sand really well and kept things moving but he was torturing my corals so i had to find him a new home.

and my LFS wants 30 to 60 dollars for a shrimp. that seems so excessive to me. what do you guys pay for your clean up critters?

I have 5 turbo snails in my 16 gallon, along with a emerald crab, and my diamond goby keeps my sandbed really clean, soon ill be adding a blue knuckle hermit.

I had a lot of hair algee starting to grow in my tank so I tried 5 Trochus snails. The have almost cleaned my entire reef in less than a week. I have visible coraline again!!

They can do a custom clean up crew for you. Price seem really good.

there are also sand sifting star fish

I have scarlet hermits, trochus, astrea,& cerith snails. All 3-5 bucks. They do wonderful!

I have 1 emerald and a couple blue and red leg hermits plus a couple snails they seem to do the job. I don't think clean up crews need to be anything fancy just find what works for you and your tank. I would recommed a peppermint shrimp and around here you can find one for $10.
