Looks great! Did you ever figure out the cause of your pH issues?

Hey thanks, this is my first tank ever and I'm really happy it turned out this well I've never even kept a goldfish before this so I'm pretty happy with it.

As for the PH issue I think it was the Chemi-pure elite keeping my PH stable at 7.3
I took the Chemi-pure out for a few days and Buffered my tank to 8.3 using Seachem Reef builder then put the chemi-pure back in now it holds at 8.3.
I'm not saying for sure it was the Chemi-pure but...

okay, just a little update on the tank. I got a couple of fish the other day and I wanted to share A picture with you.

I got a Maroon Clown and a yellow tail Damsel
I was a little nervous about getting some more fish after the Ocellaris clown incident but hopefully these fish will do better.

Oh! can anyone give me some advice on how to pick an anemone for my clown?

I'ld give your clown some time to get comfortable in the tank. It might choose to host in a coral that you already have. We have two clowns and after they got comfortable in the tank they started hosting in our hammers, anthelia (sp), and our pulsing xenia. Clowns will host in more then just anemones from what I have read and seen, but I'm still a noobie too so I could be wrong.

Things are looking very good indeed, and I see you even have a little frag rack now. Good job.

Hows that BTA doing? Is your clown feeding it, and are you giving it any kind of special attention? I just put in a GBTA, and had pretty much the same reaction from my perc. Instant Love.

Hi everyone
I just thought I would give an update on my tank.
It's been almost a year and now my tank is really starting to take off I guess it just needed some time and also it helped to stop moving things around so much and I switched back to a 10k bulb instead of the 20k.
it seems the only thing that grew well under the 20k was hair and bubble algae.

well anywhoo here is an updated picture.
