Algae problem

My system is an eclipse 6, 6gal tank with a 40w 10k pc w/blue antics, one powerhead, 2 1/2" sandbed and underground filter, some small pieces of live rock. Animals include a mated pair of true percs, 2 zebra hermits, dwarf red tip hermit, and an emerald mythrax crab. Corals include a few mushrooms, button polyps, and a lta.

I have a huge problem with detritus algae. I have ordered a new bulb and positioned the powerhead at the bottom of the tank to circulate the water flow. Any sugestions?

Nitrates 0ppm
Salinity 1.21

Detritus algae... Cyanobacteria by chance?

Just siphon as much detritus and algae as possible during the day, continue or start (bi)weekly waterchanges, feed less. Good deal with the new lights and more circulation. Cyano is usually phosphate limited (detritus is loaded with po4).
