Adding inverts

I have a 6g eclipse that I have had for a while with just a damsel. I would like to add possibly a crab or brittle star and I'm wondering what the lighting requirements are for these kinds of inverts. Can I get by with the 8W bulb or do I need to upgrade to a higher wattage?

No light needs that I know of, you should be fine. You are basically running a FOWLR with no light demanding inverts such as coral. Infact you get some lovely purple coralline with lower light.

stars and crabs do well in most any type of lighting... jsut make sure that the chemical levels are contant and adequate because stars are tempermental
