Hi Rick! Very nice nano set-up and what kind of filtration is on the back of the tank and what is the hose inside of the tank?

Rick,
(What is that tube in your tank)
Is that the surface skimmer thing. I am thinking that i am gonna have to go to 10 gal just because I can't seem to keep the cooling under control in the 3 gal. I can't tell Lisa yet though, she will get pissed after modifiying the tank. The shrooms seem okay but not open as much as I would like.

The tube goes to the Hagen surface skimmer. Looks kinda big in a 10. The power filter is a Whisper 20 just to run carbon and floss. I'll get more rock this weekend and put in a powerhead.

The nice thing about a nano and a bigger tank is --- you can do daily water changes in a nano tank (for 10 gallons a quart would do) from the bigger tank!

Truly be a great nano (not pseudo ones with refugiums and sumps plus skimmers!)! You can keep even experienced reefers wondering why it is so pristine and vibrant with life without a mud refugium/skimmer or sump!

Good reefing!
