I made the pics large to show details, does anyone object to such large photos? I have to downsize them just to get them on photobucket already.

I see no life as of today , I saw a few shrimp last night(I think they were shrimp, they looked like it, only clear and very small). All of the live rock I purchased is cured(sure is pricey that way, at least at the 2 LFS that I know where I can get it).

What does everyone think of how the rock is set up??

I was hoping for some hitchhikers , and I was looking with a flashlight about 5 min. and saw a crab, didn't get a very good look, fast little suckers, scurried back into the rock, so I'm not sure what kind it might be, hopefully see it again soon.

After some searching around, the "shrimp" i thought i had seen look a lot like a type of amphipod.

Just looking around in the tank today, more life!!!! I found what is as far as I can tell a Dwarf Yellow feater duster, I tried to get a pic but it is in a very bad location for taking photos. I'll post the pic anyway, it is in the outlined area in the photo. It is as clear as I could get with the lenses I currently have, guess I need a higher magnifying lens now. It does not like the light much, as soon as the light from the flashlight hits it, it pulls back in. I'll keep tryin to get a good photo of it.

Exciting isn't it

for a clean up crew I'd wait until ammonia, nitrite & nitrate are all zero for a couple weeks

Well it has been almost a month, I'm doing the build thread in an odd manner.... Everything is back dated, I didn't start the thread when I first set everything up, so I am writing the thread in a present tense, but everything is about 2 1/2 weeks ahead of how it is presented here. I guess I can stop doing that now, and it will probably be less confusing when I ask questions.

Thanks for all your input too, i'll take all the advice anyone is willing to give.
