14g BioCube Lighting

I just got my 14 Gal BioCube and set it up getting prepared for my trip the the reef shop this weekend.

Turned on the lights and there are 2 blue led's that seem to stay on all the time. I guess these are Lunar Blue Moon Glow, then one of the switches controls the front light which seems to be a bit on the blue side and the other switch controls the other light which looks pure white.

Does this seems right?

Just checking it's been years since I had a setup and I've forgotten alot of what I knew.

Thanks;

Steve

thats the way they work, i use a timer to control the lights, so when the regular lights are on the lunar lights are off and vice versa.

That's what I was thinking of doing, but I was going to have the Lunar Lights go off, then the blue Compact Fluorescents followed by the full white 30 min later and the opposite when they go off, first the Full white, then the Blue off at that time the Lunar come on, that way there is a period of Dawn and Dusk.

Do you have a separate time to turn the Lunar off and the Lights on, or is there a way to have a single timer throw a switch to turn one on and the other off at the same time.

Thanks;

Steve

i have my moonlights staying on at all times, i added an aftermarket 3rd row of the 24 watt lighting. i now have both my blue actinics come on 1 hour before and stay on one hour after and run my 10,000 bulb run for 7 hrs during the middle. hope that helps a little?
