10g reef filtration

i set up a 10g reef i have 10 lbs of LR and i had a H.O.T magnum canister filter it cycled for about 2 weeks with water from my other tank live sand and live rock i added some zoos today and realized my filter was leaking so i went and bought a cap 200 pump by pro clear aquatics its 175 gph and a small skimmer is this ok?

Thats ok you do not need a big or any filter with a reef tank. The live rock will do most of the filtering for you. The skimmer will be a big help so thats good. Just keep the filter clean and if you run carbon with the filter put new carbon in every 1-2 weeks.
