10 gal reef filter opinion please

im puttin together a 10gal reef for one of my employees, smallest tank to date ive set up, was going to try one of those small canister filters but its only 80gph so now im thinking of using a emporer 280? any other suggestions?

You don't need or want filters for a reef!Just add little PH and a skimmer would be a nice addition.

I have placed an Aquaclear 110 on a 10 gallon tank before just for the flow and in case I wanted to run carbon or some other chemical media. Water changes are your best friend when it comes to small tanks.

I second the Aqua Clear 110. Although I would mod it to make it a fuge and to house a heater and area to place some filter floss when needed. I also agree highly with the water changes. RELIGIOUSLY! In a 10 gallon at I would do 35-50% a week. Or half that every 3rd or 4th day.
