Thats a most beautiful tank! To bad looking at others show tanks only leaves wanting even more for my own "Precious"
Question though, with what seems to be little/no bio load, does the skimmer pull anything out(ie., does it seem to make a difference)?

Oh yeah, amazingly enough my skimmer pulls about 1 cup of skimmate a month. And not the tea colored stuff either. That's why I am amazed at how much food and fish people jam in thier tanks.

Do you do a 10% weekly water change too?

Nice setup, do you like that prizm skimmer? I had one and took it back. Keep up the pics.

The Man - Nope. I only do water changes when I add something new.

hooked - I hate this skimmer. I have to mess with it every dam day. I am constantly worrying about the collection cup filling up with water and draining my tank. As soon as I get two shiny pennies I am getting a remora.

Thats why most people with a small tank don't mess with skimmers --- just too much hassle for the small size tank.
