update


well its been a month now and the clam is doing great everyday, I do want to ask if the white tissue thats right under the mantle is just new growth for the shell, I think it is but wanted to make sure. here are a couple of pics.

yeppers just new growth. make sure you ca. alk. and mag. are at optimum levels and you'll see even more growth=)

OK well its been 5 months now since I got this you can see the update pics from 4 months ago at the top, am thinking about getting another clam of a different color but wanted everyones opinion on whether it looks like this one is doing good enough to consider adding another.. here are pics i just took today..

looks like i'm getting an average of 1 new layer per month on the growth. I am really proud of this clam, it is my first and only one, and have seen a few people around here get one and it not last a month or two in there systems, but i did do a lot of reading on there needs and all before i even purchased this one. and thanks for everyones help
