Thanks for the tip
I really appreciate the tip on how to move a clam. I needed it and wasn't sure the safest way to go about doing it.
Alright, yea I'm new to the forum but been around awhile just reading and learning; especially from the Think Tank.
For a long time I've wanted to move my clam T.maxima to a new place and didn't know how to move him without hurting him.. What I did, and worked very well for me, was just to very slowly work him back and forth until he finally let go. I never pulled on him, just kept working him back and forth for like 25 minutes or so.
It's been two weeks now and he is holding-on on a new stone where I placed him, so I hope I am out of the woods. So far, he looks really good; opens fully, no gaping.
Once again thanks for the tip.
