Oh I got a surprise for you folks, heheh. I just bought 50 clams (1/2 crow and 1/2 max's) all from vietnam, all hand picked at the collection station, all unbelievable colors. SO dont go to nuts just yet, hehehehe

A nice clam chowder that would make (just joking)! Incidentally isn't the Vietnamese Maxima the most difficult to keep? But definitely one of the prettiest.

I had also heard that Vietmanese clams were hard to keep - although I believe it was due to collection practices. We want pics!

Vietnamese clam (so I was told in another board). I was also told it will not last. It did not. (3 mos only). Too bad it was pretty.

My little clam corner. The Gold max is about 3", Squamosa=2" Hippo= 2 3/4" and the Gigas is about 6 1/2".
