i had this electric flame scallop ordered for me last week. its really neat how it pulses light at the tip of its mantle and it looks like i might be bringing home a teardrop maxima this week also!

yesterday, i traded in 2~4lb fiji liverocks and 2 frogspawn frags for my new teardrop maxima the live rocks were encrusted with tiny featherdusters, coraline and pink sea squirts, and both had about 6~8 ricordia shrooms, half of which would expand to 4" in diameter. but the ricordia and frogspawns were some of the more aggressive corals in the tank, actively seaking other corals to sting. so i think i got the better end of the deal.
the teardrop is 5", and had been in their tank for over 5 weeks.

SouthernReefer , you should place that T. Crocea upwards to the light. He's laying down on the job.

thanks for the tip! i relocated the clam, it seems that when i moved the liverock around, it changed the water path, which ended up sweeping away the sand from underneath it.
also, thanks for being a sponsor of our reef club!
