New Tank Bare Bottom but I want a CLAM

Hey Guys,

My New set up is a bare bottom set up. I would like to get some clams, will this be a problem if I want clams? The Main tank will be a Bare Bottom but the 55gl Refugium in the basement will have sand in it, I just dont want it in the main tank.

Any reason to worry?

crocea are rock borers. so they don't mind the barebottom.

now getting them to say put for a while on the BB may be a challenge.

they are much more rounded than the sand clams so they do not have a nice platform to rest on. or you can superglue rocks to it like i did to keep it in place.

LOL I'm going to do that right now, my stupid clam want's to lay on it's side, not smart enough to anchor himself to the glass bottom.
