Well, I have another quetion/problem with my crocea clam. After moving him to the rock work about 1/3 the way up in the tank as Whiskey suggested, the gaping stopped.

Now over the past 2-3 days I have noticed a white area of what looks like hypopigmentation on the clam mantle. Is this due to the increased intensity of the lights due to moving the clam up in the tank. Should I be worried? Is there any thing I can do?
