New Clam

This is my first clam and wonder if anyone can id it? These are very beautifull creatures and am looking to get more.

Yes, thats a tridacna crocea clam and is the highest lighting needy of the clams we keep. So it will need intense lighting and it is also a rock dwelling creature too. So after acclimation I'd try to move it up into your rock structure before it attachs to the glass underneath your sand.
