bubble trouble
i've added 3 emerald crabs, and a gold spotted rabbitfish to try and combat this problem. hopefully it won't last long. if not, whats the best way to dislodge the clam from the rock?

is he bored all the way into the rock? My goodness I would have no idea what to do except for a VERY careful dissection of the rock, and then try to VERY VERY carefully get the byssus threads cut...but man have you got a chore for you if that clam is bored all the way into the rock. I guess that's why they're called boring clams!

thanks casey! i'm looking to get a squamosa next, i don't have any plans on getting a gigas yet, but ya just never know.... i could see setting up a large cube aquarium dedicated to a full grown gigas clam with sps's growning on it shell!

Casey, I don't think that word addiction even touches the tip of your "thing" with clams!!
