Need some help with a brand new clam..

I picked up this awseome looking clam today. I inspected it thoroughly and it looked fine so I bought it. I got home and it extended its mantle. I noticed an area on the tip of the mantle. The tank it came out of had an anemone near by and I suspect that it stung it. What do you guys think? WIll the clam recover from this brown area on its mantle? I can't say for sure that the anemone got it, I can only speculate. Please let me know what you guys think.

Toadfish,

As long as the mantle is extended and the clam reacts to light stimulation, it is doing well. I am not sure it will regain its color in that spot, but is a beatiful clam nevertheless!

Its extended well under the light. The area on the mantle isn't making much progress, but it isn't regressing either. I will give another update when it takes a turn either way.
