My new Crocea Clam

Well i got my halide lighting 150W for my 29G, hope its enough since my tank isn't to deep, this one is 3.5" so will i have to feed him phyto?

I have a squamosa in there also and he is happy, this halide really penetrates the water good....

He is really vibrant, I can't move him any higher than i have him but he seems to like it considering he was under some VHO's at the LFS..

I want to know the camera make/model that took that pyramid snail photo in that other thread in this same section

Also they don't open as much as squamosa do they, or is he just little and should open up bigger, i hope i put him in a good place where he can grow if he needs to, though i think some don't get bigger than 4" or so... i read 4-7" at maturity

Very cool clam, I agree your lighting should be fine as long as the clam is not shadowed.

Will mushrooms sting it? its near one doesn't seem to irritate it, sometimes it touches it, it pulls back but then touches it more for extended periods

Well this clam keeps making himself fall, I yelled at him a minute ago
so he would keep still but i doubt it helps i think i have him in a good spot... his foot is attached to some small rock that he attached to the lfs, the rock is about the size of a nickel, like a reef rubble chunk I just hope he quits everytime he falls it messes up his clam shell... makes it flake off up top and all
