Hi everyone, I got my first calm (T. Crocea) just a few days ok and i put it amongst my LR and during the day it opens all the way and appears to be fine but every morning i find on on the sand bed. Why is it moving when the lights are off and is there anything i can do ?

it is just trying to find a comfortable place to be. at night they seem more active in their opening and closing. i have found that when i first get a clam i put it in a pretty deep crevis in the rockwork. this keeps the clam steady until it starts to grab a hold with it bissal threads. as long as the clam keeps opening and you have good light you should be fine.
