I may have placed my clam near hydroids

I looked at where i put my clam and there may be a small colony of hydroids there, is the miniature variety almost looks like a small colony of feather dusters, but when comparing what i see to the hitchhiker pictures it looks like that what they are.

My clam doesn't seem to be bothered and a few of the hyroids seem to be touching its mantle and it doesn't seem to be bothered...

I just want to make sure he will be ok, maybe they are some sort of other kind of feather dusters but they look like hyroids to me, want to make sure he will be ok..

Yea he should be fine no worries there.

I wouldn't worry about those things too much, I have them in my tank and SPS corals seem to encrust over them, even montipora. When I saw that I stopped worrying about their supposed sting.
