How quick do Derasa grow???

So I am in the middle of setting up my 55...so it will be quite a while yet before the tank is mature enough for clams...but I am thinking eventually Crocea and I'd really like a nice Derasa too....BUT, Derasa seem to get pretty big...especially if I only have a 55 at the moment.....I am just wondering how quick do they grow? Am I looking at having a 16" clam in a year...or is this something that will take many years if I start off with a 3 or 4" Derasa?

a Derasa kept in ideal conditions will grow on average about 6cm per year
