Looks like a T. Maxima to me but to be 100% I'd have to look at the shell.

I have seen Squamosa's that closely resemble Maximas, but your's like a Max.

Nice color/pattern!

hey, here's a quick clam-and-lighting question: would i be able to keep clams in a 55 gallon tank with 440watts of vho lights and 220watts of pc lights?

i'm upgrading my lights from the 220watts pc i currently have to a diy canopy which will house the pc bulbs and the vho light kit i just ordered. i'm guessing i'd be able to keep most anything but wanted to run this through the experts first.

with that lighting system, is there anything i couldn't keep- sps, clams, etc.?

hayday

ps: scoobity, that is an awesome looking clam and sorry for pirating your post.

Nice looking clam! Makes me GREEN with envy

hayday:
I can't help you with the lighting requirements! But I would like to know how you plan to mount all that lighting into a canapoy that will fit a 55gal?
