Flame scallop

I just recently acquired a flame scallop and I was wondering if there was a proper way to feed them. I've heard so much stories of them dieing due to starvation

It is very important to let him find his own place. 99 times out of 100 it will be where you cant see him :-(
The place he finds will be safe and provide filter food. Most scallops die from being constantly moved to a place where you can see them
There is no need to feed them unless you have a very low nutrient tank.

Luckily mine found a spot right up front. I have yet to feed mine it gets what it wants and has never moved. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Yea mine moved in the best spot it can be in up front. It looks good but these scallops can really "swim" haha. They get in the most impossiable places
