direct feeding


I have read that you can feed through a (turky baster tube ?) is this like a semi solid food? or liquid? wont it just float away in the curent?

I turn all the pumps and powerheads off when I target feed my Sun Coral.

You can do that yes but nothing works as well as bowl feeding with a clam that is.

Is the bowl method the same theory as using the top half of a 2 liter bottle?

The bowl method is just taking the clam out and putting him in a bowl with tank water and DTs added and leaving him in there till the water is clear about 12 to 15 mins and then putting him back in the tank.

Thats why you put a small shell under them so they attach to that and you can remove them when you want.
