I have has a Crocea clam in my tank for a little over a week. At first it was doing fine and opeing up completely. Within the past 2-3 days, i noticed it wasn't opening up fully.

Is this normal?

You need to be doing supplemental feedings on it. Search through this forum and you'll see discussion on that.

Casey should be along shortly to offer a better pointer.

Also - what are your water parms? And I'm with Casey - you may need to move it higher in the tank. I've got my Crocea about twelve inches below a stiff t5 setup and it's doing well.

Everyone,

My crocea is doing much better since direct feeeding. I took a 1 liter Dasani water bottle and cut the bottom off and placed it over te clam. Then injected the bottle with Phyto Plankton and let it sit until the water in the bottle cleared up. Worked great for the clam as well as my Carnation Coral.

Thanks again for the input!
