Hey Barry - do you think Clams will do OK on the top (close to the surface) of a PC system (4 x 96 watt).?

ylmaya,

Depending how deep your tank is and how far your lights will be from the clams.

Drop me a line and we can discuss it.

Regards,

Barry

How do you move clams? I thought once they attached you couldn't (or was it you shouldn't move them). I see the first one looks like its just sitting in the sand. Will that one try to attach anything? They are beautiful clams. I don't have any, yet. But some day soon I hope to!

You can move the clam if you like. Once it is attached, you may have to move the rock or if you are really careful you can detach him from the rock by cutting his byssal threads, NOT THE FOOTING.
