Clam xpert - Casey

Currently have a BB tank with a Maxie on a piece of PVC - it's getting big and now a little lobsited on the PVC. I want to move the clam onto some sand in a PVC end cap. The clam has attached to the inside of the PVC and just thinking of carfully seperating it from the inside - with a knife - not cutting the foot but seperating it from the PVC with the foot intact....

What do you think? Or just get a bigger ring and put the clam and present ring into it.

Either way should work fine just be careful if you cut and dont cut the foot just the threads you see,good luck I think you will be fine if your careful.

All I see under the clam is a thick meaty foot about 1/4" thick, maybe I'll just add another ring of pvc.

Thats right its a Maxie,Yea just add the pvc my mind was stuck on croceas.
