Clam Question

I have a 24gal NanoCube and would really like to have a clam in it. It have 2 38W 50-50 pcs for lighting, which come to 3.17W per gallon. Could I have one or no? And if I can what do you reccomend getting?

Watts per gallon is really not a good measure of light availability. Because of the size of that tank, I don't think it's very wise to add a clam. The PC bulbs arent powerful enough for the smaller clams (like crocea and maxima clams), and it's probably not enough for even the lower light clams (which get very large anyways, well over 2 feet). I'd look at upgrading your light before venturing into clams.

I agree with him and I think it would be better in a bigger tank anyway(easier to keep the levles steady).
