clam pics!(crocea, maxima, derasa)

the crocea and maxima are pretty new (a week / one day, respectively)... added after getting MH... derasa has been around a while and has grown a lot (a LOT).

Thought the crocea was gonna die the other day, his rock fell and his foot got ripped out... could see straight into the clam from underneath; but two days later (after securing his rock) he still seems happy as a...

appreciate it!!! I really like the tank... have just about everything I want right now so I am going to let it grow and stabalize... maybe will add a LMB and get rid of my queen conch before she grows too big.

btw my goby paired with my pistol shrimp today! clams are one of the main reasons I got mh... the derasa is great but the maxima and crocea are stunning.

Not trying to start an arguement, but looking at the shells, I think both blue ones are croceas.

Very nice BD, the clams and the tank. I also agree that the 2 blue clams look like croceas, Casey will give a positive ID.

DAC the one on the left was from the store in pasadena on colorado... pretty nice looking clam although I like the one on the right a bit better because the colors are more varied. Thanks for the comments everyone. I assure you the tank is not quite so algae-free anymore!
