Clam owners I need your help! I need Pics of your clams.

As many of you know I am a Mod here in the Clam Forum. Right now I am preparing a FAQ for Clams. As part of this article I would like to include pictures of the different types of clams to give people a better idea of what the different clams look like.

Here is where you come in! I would really appreciate it if you would post a pic of your clam, and it's ID.

Please understand that if you post a pic here you are giving me permission to use it in an article that will become a sticky at the top of this forum. Also please understand that I may crop or resize the picture to make it fit the article.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for fixing that link ReefStock, and the crazy cool clam. Where do they sell ones that look like that?

Thanks ReefNeck, I thought Squmosa would be really hard ones to get pictures of because I have only seen one for sale once. Looks like it is Derassa and Gigas that nobody has. That's good though, because I have a Gigas, and 2 Derassas.

Thanks for the Pics Viv! How sure are you on the ID's of the last 2? The Baby squmosa and Maxima? I ask because I about 99% sure that the one you called Baby squmosa, is a Maxima. The one you called a Maxima, looks like it may be a squmosa, or Gigas, do you have a clear shot of the incurrent syphon and shell?

Thanks everyone!
Whiskey

Oh, Duh

Do they come in from the ocean like that? Or are they bread specifically by farms to form those crazy colors?
