I honestly don't know where that one came from. The last order was from a wholesaler, a small test order Obviously I am happy with the results... the other one was even better (but it was snatched up right away ). After MACNA I will make another order and make a point of asking about the origins.
Thanks!

It's not a really great picture since she was only in the tank for 5 minutes before I took this but here is my newest T. Maxima. (Drool)

Wow, That is a really tight Derassa Lady Reefneck, and an Amazing Squammie Charlie. Great colors!
Reefneck, whatariat, and MG amazing Clams too. Were are you getting Squmosas like that? And I have never seen an oringe maxima.
The one Clam I haven't seen yet here is the Gigas, which is fine because I have one, well accually I am saving one for a friend, but I can still get some pics of it. I am really glad, because I thought squmosa would be the hardest clam to get a picture of, I have a hard time finding one around here.
I've got the Clam FAQ up finally, and I will get these photos up tonight or tomorrow when I get home to my computer.
Thanks everyone!
Whiskey

OK, Back from MACNA
First let me say there is a groovy clam book just out:
Giant Clams in the Sea and the Aquarium, James Fatherree.
Chapter 2 is about feeding and let me just say it turns the tables on everything that is being said right now on the chat forums. I'm not going to ruin the story. Let me just say I got more than my moneys worth out of it so far
I realize now i didn't asked about each species on my last talk with the wholesalers... but I did ask where the clams were coming from... answer was wild caught.

I have never seen a teardrop maxima colored as mine in that last pic either. That is why as soon as I saw it I was like a small child yelling "MINE" across the room.
I'll post an updated shot for you in the next day or two since she has settled in now.

Thanks Whiskey! It is a cool colour ... kind of a lime green with blue on edges. Reefneck got it for me
There are really some beautiful photos here and a wide range of colour patterns too.
Charlie! Your Derasa and Squammy are amazing too!.

Here's a better picture of Reefneck's Gold Maxima now that it's settled in.
