That's basically what I found. There were other snails on my clams by they seemed to be more of the Astrea variety. I found 3 total between all four of my clams. Did those in the pic come from your tank recently?

Casey,

Once those get into your tank it is SO hard to rid them as they will hide in empty shells and dip into the sand and at night, here they come.

Casey,

That will help and if you have any empty hermit or snail snails I would take them out. A six-line is a little help ridding them.

Besure to check around the byssal as they like to hide there.

I have had great luck with a yellow coris wrasse. I have had this fish for a while and my 180g. {knock on wood} is free of the pyramid snails. Once they get a foothold it is hard to get rid of them but persistense will rule.
