Clam in close quarters with pulsing xenia

My crocea clam is being taken over by my xenia. They are growing near him and pulsing, he isn't bothered by it but i noticed it shadows some parts of his left part of his mantle, his right part is the the light with no problem as well as his in siphon and the other part of him I forget what its called.

I was just cocerned about that bit of shadowing if he would deteriorate or not and if i need to cut back the xenia. If anyone lives near meridian, ms. and wants some frags of this give me a PM I need to get rid of some ASAP. If i find i need to be a cutting.

The problem is that the xenia will continue to grow, even on the clam's shell. I think it's best if you trim it back a bit.

Do you have LFS that will take it? My local store gives me store credit for frags.

Cool, it's always nice when you can make something back from your tank.
