clam coloration.... very interesting question

ok.... i bought the clam about a week ago. it had nice colors. its purple with blue lines. I looked at the clam from the top of the water looking down and its turquoise ( spelled wrong?) it looks so much nicer looking at it from the top of the tank compared to looking at it from the side of the tank..... any reason for this???

Yes thats why they make clam angled tanks,it had to do with the way the light hits the clams mantle and angle of refraction,all clams look better from above.

if i tilt the clam more there would be better coloration? it looks alot nicer from above
