Basically New MyReef MR1 Clone Skimmer, $160.00 shipped

I posted this on reefcentral, and thought I may as well offer it up here as well. Well, as several of my friends on here know, I developed and built a line of Myreef clone Beckett injected skimmers. All of the small ones are gone except for one, and I am posting it on here because there are a few things that happened with it.
There was a little accident with it, but it's forsale nontheless. It's identical to the skimmers which I will list below, is new, but I kindof dropped it off the router table when routering over the bottom edges and broke off a little corner. I didn't even glue the corner back on, I just hit it with some weldon 16 and have verified that it is 100% leak free and still works exactly as intended. The other problem is that for some reason two stress cracks occured with the collection cup. I have included pictures of both the bottom and the cup, as well as 1 uprite full picture of the skimmer itself.

I sold a used one of these on here for $160.00 shipped, and that is what I would like to get out of this one.
Please e-mail with any questions / concerns. This is the absolute last one of these that I have, and when it's gone it's gone. I do have the larger 300+ gallon models still available (MR3 equivilents) if anyone is interested.
Ok, Pictures.

And finally the skimmer itself (New injector included but not shown in this picture) Also note that I don't include the air silencers that are shown in the pictures below because they clog far to quickly, and really aren't needed with the way the Custom Clear Becket Injector assembly works.

If anyone is within driving distance of Mishawaka, IN 46544 you can pick this up yourself and save $15.00, and get some great deals on some frags!
Thanks!

Beckett Injected Skimmers are some of the most powerful saltwater protien skimmers available on the market. Ever heard of MyReefCreations, Barr Aquatic Systems, Precision Marine Bullet Skimmers? All use the incredible Beckett Corporation 1408 Foam Injector head. This skimmer uses the exact same technology, with some very important upgrades.
There are 3 models of the ZeroDOC (Dissolved Organic Content) Skimmers. The upgraded (better) version is the ZeroDOC180C (C=Custom Injector). The skimmer itself is identical to the ZeroDOC180s but comes with an upgraded (better) full Custom Becket Injector with clear housing and 3 thumb turn nylon screws for opening and cleaning the Becket injector (much easier than the standard injector). This auction is for one ZeroDOC180c, which includes everything seen in the picture (except the 90degree nylon barb elbow on top of the injector). You will need to buy one of these yourself at the hardware store when you buy the tubing to connnect your pump to the skimmer. You will have to decide if you want to go with 3/4" or 1" diameter tube. (1" is recommended but not required). Custom Clear injector housing (with 1408 head), Air Valve with silencer for fine tuning of the foam, Skimmer itself with the collection cup and drain.
I have made a video demonstrating the basic operation of the ZeroDOC180 and ZeroDOC300 Skimmers. It's about 83 seconds long and a ~ 4 meg download in .mpg format for mac and PC. Download Skimmer Video Here
So what are these upgrades? First, is a skimmer mixing box that is heat bent, resulting in 3 less corner seams that can leak. Second, is a overlapped top and bottom to the box, which makes for quick assembly and easy sealing of any leaks, should they ever occur (which they won't). Third is the quick release flange of the collection cup, which makes it as easy as a 1/4 turn to remove and empty the collection cup. This flange is on the base of the cup, as well as the lid of the cup. If it's easy to clean your skimmer, you are more likely to do it often, resulting in better performance. A clean skimmer always works better than a dirty skimmer. The Fourth upgrade is the custom injector housing with the 3 nylon screws for easy opening / cleaning (already mentioned above). Note: It is normal for the Injector housing to fill partially with water.
The ZeroDOC180 Skimmers have a 1" input for the beckett injector assembly, and a 1.5" PVG gate valve for controlling the water level in the skimmer. The dimensions of the Skimmer are 23 3/4" total height, and has a footprint of 9 1/4" x 9 1/4". This includes the gate valve. The mixing box dimensions are 8" Tall x 9 1/4" wide x 5 3/4" thick. The riser tower is 7" tall (4 1/2" OD Cast Composite Acrylic Tube) and the cup is 5 3/4" tall. The internal riser of the cup is 2". See Pictures below to get an idea of how well built these skimmers are.
Check out the Product Instruction Manual (PDF) at http://www.cheapfrags.com/ebay/Zero...ZeroDOC180c.pdf

Recommended Pump - Mag Drive 12 or Mag 18 for even better performance. I recommend this skimmer for saltwater tanks from 55 to 200 gallons. For larger systems, consider the ZeroDOC300c. Please note that break in and setup of this skimmer do require a little patience and time on the part of the owner.
