need to sell....bad news

http://www.madisonreef.com/forum/tem...n_minipost.gifPosted: Sun Mar 25, 2007 12:51 pm Post subject: Bad Newshttp://www.madisonreef.com/forum/tem...icon_quote.gif http://www.madisonreef.com/forum/tem.../icon_edit.gif HI All. I need to do something that I DON'T want to do, but circumstances is leaving me to HAVE to do it. I found out Friday that my cat is suffering from a bad case of Feline Diabetes. It is treatable, downside of it all is that it is very expensive. Seeing I love my animals with all my heart, I don't have the heart to put him down because of an illness.

That leaves me selling off everything that is in my reef tank. I have a 46 bowfront (that I will keep) that is full of live rock, coral and fish. I will list what is inside the tank and I will take any reasonable offer on things. Some rock has a little hair algae issues...but should be easily taken care of. I need to get his medicine ASAP so please help me out here. I know I won't get much for my stuff.....but I am not going to give it away either.

I have sold a lot of stuff today....I had posts on Reef Central and MARS. I still have items I need to sell by the end of the week so if anyone is interested...only willing to ship the hard goods .... not corals.. that is only available pick up.

thanks, Kelly

updated list with picture of what the tank DID look like. The list is what is still available.

Approx 10 pound solid rock with three nice hairy mushrooms, a poylp and a piece of xenia on it.....not sold

small rock with green star polyps and a hairy/frilly type mushroom...different than the others

Stalks of Xenia (not the pompom) ... STILL A LOT LEFT

Medium bunch of green star polyps ...NOT SOLD

Brown type polyps (ton of them on a rock) ...NOT SOLD

Two different frags of about 10-15 polyps off the rock above...not sold

Different type of off brown polyps 50+ .....NOT SOLD

Another kind 12-15 polyps ....NOT SOLD

25+ mushroom rock ....NOT SOLD

I will also have my seaclone skimmer for sale when everything is out of the tank...rated for 100 gallons ....NOT SOLD

Salifert Nitrate Test almost new ....NOT SOLD

Nutrafin Phosphate Test almost new ....NOT SOLD

1/2 bottle of Kent Marine Liquid Calcium ....NOT SOLD

Full bottle of Kent Micro Vert ...NOT SOLD

B-Ionic Calcium Buffer System - Alkalinity and Calcium Bottles brand new...NOT SOLD

When everything is said and done about 40 lbs of live sand. My tank had a lot of those little white brittle stars.

Thanks,

Kelly

I am not sure on prices....people have been making me offers. The full set up is no longer as I said I sold a lot of stuff already that was in the tank. what I listed is all that is left...I just included the picture so maybe people could see the items that are left. So if someone is interested in anything shoot me a pm and a price. My cats health is more important and I really could use the money to pay for his next vet visit.

Thanks.

Some pictures of what is left. Remember everything got moved around in catching the fish and removing corals...so some things are not happy and fully open yet.

The light and live rock are sold and will be picked up Saturday...so I really need to sell what is left. Thanks everyone for the help that already got stuff. Kitty Kitty goes in at 3:30 to the vet and I get taught how to give insullin injections.
