FS - Drinking water safe epoxy paint, uniseals & bulkheads
Selling some leftover stuff from my DIY tank project. Pictures should be attached below.
The main thing I'm trying to sell is the paint. I built a 30g plywood tank last year, and so I used very little of the 1 gallon I bought. (Only about 1/4 or 1/3.)
It is a 2-part epoxy paint, pretty much top-of-the-line industrial stuff. It is NSF-61 approved, meaning it is okay for drinking water applications. It is white, and I don't believe it can be tinted. (At least, if it can, the guys that sold it to me said they didn't stock the special tints required to do so.) I just covered the tank back/sides w/ concrete afterward anyway, so it didn't matter for me.
Anyway, its called Devoe Bar-Rust 233H. I got it from ICI paints almost exactly one year ago. I don't remember the exact price I paid, but I know it was between $60 - $70.
Asking $30 for the paint. Again, it is a one gallon kit, with about 2/3 to 3/4 of it remaining. Local pickup only.
Also, I have several uni-seals and bulkheads for sale. They are all new, although a few of the bulkheads might have light scuff marks simply because I took them out of the original package. I have the following sizes:
Uniseals:
4" - $4
3" (I have two of these) - $3 each
2" - $2
1 1/2" - $1
3/4" - $1
3/16" (fits RO tubing) - free w/ any other uniseal
Bulkheads:
2" clear slipxFPT - $5
1 1/2" black slipxFPT (I have two of these) - $4 each
*defective* 1 1/2" black slipxFPT (I have three of these) $1 each
I list the last bulkheads as defective because I ordered them threaded, and yet the threads, for whatever reason, don't start until about 5/8" the way down into the BH, which makes them all but useless for threading. I suppose others could find use for them, so long as you realize that you won't be able to thread any pipe into the flange side of them.
Send me a PM if you are interested in any of this stuff. I am in the Minnetonka/Eden Prairie area, but could possibly drive a short distance if you wanted to meet somewhere. (Like a LFS or whatever...) I should be able to meet on weekday afternoons and evenings, let me know what works for you.
